It all started in my garage 9 years ago, where my passion for motorbikes, making things and accidentally scolding myself collided. Back then, making motorcycles was more about finding time between work, failed castings piling up in the corner, and dreaming up wild ideas I could attempt to sand cast with whatever scrapyard treasures I could dig up. Each build became a new way to learn something new - often the hard way - with techniques like brazing, hand-finishing and sand-casting turning rough sketches into real, rideable bikes.
Fully self-taught and fueled by trial and error, custom motorcycles turned into a full-blown obsession - a mission driven by sculpture, backyard engineering, and sheer stubbornness.
To me, the kick is sculpting each piece by hand - sometimes from clay, sometimes from random objects found on walks - then finding a way to fit them onto a bike and riding out to test what works.
In recent years, I started sharing my creations not just as one-offs, but as products people can actually buy, from handmade bike parts to limited edition merch.
Now, it's time for the next step - making Palms Customs official. This isn't just a workshop, it's a place for handmade motorcycles and creative experiments. Whether you've followed the journey from the first sand-cast or you've just stumbled across us for the first time, cheers for being here and supporting what comes next. I can't wait to see where this leads.
